Up for sale is an as new 1/144 BOAC Lockheed L-749 Constellation G-ALAL “Banbury” (AA30401) by Corgi
Originally delivered to Aerlinte Eirann as EI-ACR, this aircraft was sold to BOAC in 1948 after Aerlinte Eirann suffered financial difficulties. BOAC used them to replace flying boats on the London to Australia route.
This model aeroplane is made from die-cast metal and plastic and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to GeminiJets, Western Models and Inflight200.
