Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Varig Brasil Convair CV-990 PP-VJE (IF990VR0323P) by Inflight200.
Varig had three CV990’s in it’s fleet, all delivered in 1963. This one remained with them until 1967. Sadly the aircraft did not survive much beyond this as the aircraft while flying with Modern Air crashed in August 1970 at Acapulco after undershooting the runway, colliding with the approach lights and breaking apart, all 8 occupants survived.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, J-Fox and Aviation200.
Includes display stand.
