Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale TWA Trans World Airlines Lockheed L-1649 Starliner N8083H (558372-001) by Herpa Wings.

Delivered new to TWA in 1958 this Connie was converted to a freighter in 1962. It saw service with several airlines. In 2007 it was bought by Lufthansa as a parts source for their Constellation restoration and then was returned to the US and used as the basis for a restaurant at the TWA hotel at JFK airport in New York.

This model aircraft is made from diecast metal with some plastic components and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Inflight200, NG Models, Phoenix, Gemini Jets, JC Wings and Aeroclassics.
