Up for sale is a brand new 1/200 RUSSIAN AIR FORCE ANTONOV AN-26 RF-36072 (A2023) by Aviaboss
The AN-24 was designed for short- and medium-haul airlines. Owing to high flight performance, structural reliability, ability to operate from/to unpaved airfields, operating economy and ease of maintenance, the aircraft was recognized not only in the Soviet Union, but also abroad. A military version was designated An-26 and included a new rear cargo ramp and military interior.
The first flight of the aircraft took place on May 21, 1969. The An-26 was mass-produced from 1969 to 1986. During this time, the aircraft has become and remains to this day the main medium-sized cargo and military transport aircraft in the USSR and countries of Eastern Europe.
This model is of a Russian Air Force with tail number RF-36072. The aircraft was built in 1978 and to this day continues to be used in the military transport aviation of Russia.
