Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale BRANIFF INTERNATIONAL DOUGLAS DC-8-55CF N1509U JET TRADER (ACN1509U) by Aeroclassics.
When PANAGRA (Pan American-Grace) ceased operations in 1967 Braniff picked up this virtually new series -50 DC-8. They only kept it for a few months before passing it to Seaboard World. From then on it seems to have had a chequered existence passing through at least eleven other operators before retiring with Hewa Bora Airways in the Congo in 2011.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
