Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale Air BVI Hawker Siddeley HS 748 VP-LVO (AC419673) by Aeroclassics.

Air BVI was small regional airline in the British Virgin Airlines that was founded in 1971. By 1985, Air BVI had replaced its original DC-3 aircraft with larger Hawker Siddeley HS 748 turboprops two of which including this aircraft came from Dan Air whose livery it continued to wear. They operated up to seven roundtrip flights a day nonstop between Tortola and San Juan in addition to flying twice daily nonstop service between Virgin Gorda and San Juan with Britten-Norman Islander aircraft. In 1989, the airline was continuing to operate nonstop HS 748 turboprop service between Tortola and San Juan in addition to nonstop Islander flights between Virgin Gorda and San Juan and had also added nonstop HS 748 service operated six days a week between San Juan and La Romana, Dominican Republic. Sadly the airline failed in 1993.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
