Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Trans Australia Airlines (TAA) Fokker F-27-1020 Friendship VH-TFA (WM211017) by Aeroclassics for the Western Models brand.
Ordered new by TAA new from Fokker on March 9, 1956, VH-TFA was on June 24, 1959. This aircraft experienced a life similar to many other aircraft operated in Australia in the 1950’s-1980’s, fulfilling a useful career for the airline for 14 years before being sold to Air Niugini in 1974 and subsequently Aviateca Guatemala, where it operated its final years.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Inflight200.
No display stand included.
