Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale NAC New Zealand National Airways Corporation New Zealand Fokker F27-5237F Friendship ZK-NFA “Kotuku” (WM211080) by Aeroclassics.

Despite a strong push by the British government to sell the Handley Page Herald, NAC opted for the already proven Friendship. The first -100 series arrived in 1960 and the fleet continued to build over the the following years with the -500 series being added in the 1970’s. This aircraft was delivered in March 1977 and continued to fly with NAC ‘s successor Air New Zealand until it was sold to Merpati of Indonesia in 1992.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Inflight200.
