Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Air New Zealand Fokker F-27-1020 Friendship ZK-BXH “Koropio” (WM211079) by Aeroclassics.
Ordered new by the New Zealand National Airways Corporation new from Fokker ZK-BXH was delivered in December 1961. It flew with NAC until 1963 when it was leased to East-West airlines in Australia from September 1963 as VH-EWH. It returned to New Zealand in 1965 and continued to fly with NAC until the merger with Air New Zealand when it took on the hybrid livery depicted 0n this model. It wore the final teal Air NZ livery from the mid 1980’s onward. It was withdrawn from use in April 1990 and eventually was placed in the Wanaka National Transport & Toy Museum in August 2012.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Inflight200.
No display stand included.
