Up for sale is a brand new 1/250 Pan American World Airways (Pan Am) Boeing 747-100 N741PA “Clipper Sparkling Wave” (223236) by PPC.
Pan Am was the launch customer for the 747 and this is an early example of the type. Displayed here in the later billboard livery, this aircraft was one of 44 of the original -100 series in the fleet. It was delivered in February 1970 and remained with the airline until December 1990.
This model aircraft is made from resin and plastic and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Wooster, Herpa, Skymarks and Hogan models.
