Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale ROLLS ROYCE BOEING 747-200 N787RR “SPIRIT OF EXCELLENCE” (11709) by Phoenix.
Built for Cathay Pacific in 1980, this 747 was eventually sold to Air Atlanta Icelandic who regularly leased it to other airlines. Rolls Royce North America purchased it in 2005 to use as a test bed for the Trent engine as used on the 787.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Aeroclassics, JC Wings and Aviation400.
