Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 CAAC Boeing 747-200 B-2440 (11818) by Phoenix

CAAC was the the Chinese state airline from the early 1950’s. The 747 was part of an expansion into international routes. They operated both the short -SP and -200 series types with four of each being used. This -200 was leased from Boeing in May 1985 after it had seen service with Alitalia amongst others. It was the second -200 to serve. It was returned to Boeing at the end of that year and went on to fly with Virgin. It was eventually retired in 2007 and broken up the following year.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Models and Aviation400.
