JC Wings 1/200 Aerospatiale Aerospatiale ATR-42 F-WEGA (LH2233)

Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Aerospatiale Aerospatiale ATR-42 F-WEGA (LH2233) by JC Wings.

This aircraft was the prototype of the ATR-42 and first flew in August 1984. Sadly it crashed in June 1988 at Toulouse shortly after take-off, whilst on a test flight to simulate engine failure, all 3 crew died. A replica aircraft exists, another demonstrator (F-WEGC) has been preserved at the Aeroscopia Museum in the original ATR Prototype colours.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation200.
