Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF) Lockheed P-3K Orion by Inflight200 in their 1980’s livery.

Originally delivered as part of a massive aircraft re-equipment order the New Zealand government undertook in 1966. This aircraft was delivered as a P-3B to 5 Squadron to replace ageing Sunderland flying boats. This was the third aircraft delivered. It was later upgraded during the 1980’s to the unique P-3K variant with the addition of more modern radar (APS-134), an IRDS camera, a digital computing bus, and electronic displays/information management system as part of Project Rigel. In the 1990’s a major wing refurbishment under project Kestrel was done in conjunction with several international partners bringing another new designation, P-3K2. The aircraft was finally retired in 2021 to be replaced by the P-8 Poseidon.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix, JC Wings, and Aeroclassics.
