Up for sale is a brand new 1/500 JAC Japan Air Commuter NAMC YS-11 JA8776 (YS51109) by Hogan
The YS-11 was an indigenous Japanese design similar to the HS748. It was mainly used by the Japanese military and civilian carriers in that country although several were also exported to other countries including the USA. Japan Air Commuter is a Japanese regional airline based in Kirishima, Kagoshima Prefecture. It operates feeder services in support of Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways. Its main base is Kagoshima Airport, with focus cities at Itami Airport, Amami Airport and Fukuoka Airport. JAC is partly owned by Japan Airlines and 12 local municipalities of the Amami Islands and Kagoshima. Twelve Ys-11’s flew with the airline between 1988 and 2006.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Geminijets, JC Wings, NG Models and Aviation400.
