Up for sale is a brand new 1/48 US Navy Grumman F9F-2 Panther “BLUE ANGELS #1” (HA7204) by Hobby Master.

The F9F Panther entered service in 1949. It was the first Grumman jet fighter, first Carrier-Borne Navy jet fighter in combat, first USN jet to shoot down an enemy airplane and the first jet aircraft used by the Blue Angels. A total of 1,382 F9Fs were made. This aircraft was flown by R. E. “Dusty” Rhodes during 1949.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Corgi, Gemini Jets, JC Wings, Witty Wings, Century Wings, NG Models and Aviation72.
