Up for sale is a brand new 1/200 BEA Vickers Viscount V.802 G-AOJD (572095) by Herpa
This V.802 was built for British European Airways Corporation (BEA) as G-AOJD and first flew from Weybridge, Surrey, England on 29 November 1956. It was transferred to British Airways after the BOAC merger and ended it’s days with the Jersey Airport Fire & Rescue Service. It was withdrawn from BA service at Jersey Airport, Channel Islands March 1976 and used for fire and rescue practice. It wasn’t broken up for scrap until early 2003.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation200.
Includes a display stand.
