Up for sale is a 1:400 scale CAAC Hawker Siddeley HS-121 Trident 2E B-2217 (GJCCA775) by GeminiJets.
CAAC was the government airline of the Peoples Republic of China and for a time operated a number of British aircraft types including the Trident. A contract for six was signed in 1971 although eventually 35 flew with CAAC. This aircraft was delivered in March 1977 and spent it’s entire with the airline. It was retired in 1990 and partly preserved at the Guangzhou Civil Aviation College in 2007.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, NG Model, JC Wings, Phoenix and Aviation400 models.
