Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-90 N904RA (GJAAL1566) by Gemini Jets.

The MD-80 family was the last of Douglas’ famous DC-9 Series. American was a user of the type across most of the “Mad Dog” family, using MD-82, 83, 87 and 90 versions with nearly 400 airframes serving with the airline. This MD-90 was one of five used by AA. It was delivered new to Reno Air in December 1997 with American absorbing it into it’s fleet in August 1999. It’s final days were spent flying with Delta who eventually retired and scrapped it in about 2018.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to NG Models, Phoenix, Herpa, JC Wings and Aeroclassics.
