Up for sale is a brand new 1/200 Emirates Boeing 777-300ER A6-EPU “Sustainability” (G2UAE799) by GeminiJets.
This 777 was one of 40 aircraft (both 777’s and A380’s) that were chosen to promote Dubai’s 2020 Expo event. The source of inspiration for the Expo 2020 Dubai decals was the event’s logo, based on a 4,000 year old ring excavated at an archaeological site in Dubai. The aircraft decals are comprised of circles and hoops encircling a ring, in three distinct colours reflecting the sub-themes of Expo 2020 Dubai – amber tinged orange for ‘opportunity’, emerald green for ‘sustainability’ and cerulean blue for ‘mobility’. The Expo 2020 Dubai decals were displayed on the aircraft until April 2021
This 777-300ER in the “Sustainability” special livery is one of 123 in service with the airline in 2021 and was decorated this way in November 2017.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Inflight200, JC Wings, NG Models and Aviation200.
