Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale ALLEGHENY AIRLINES DE HAVILLAND DHC-6 N102AC (G2USA1033) by Gemini Jets.
The de Havilland Canada DHC-6 Twin Otter is a Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) twin-engine utility aircraft manufactured in Canada. It first flew on May 20, 1965, and entered service in 1966. Along with its STOL performance, the Twin Otter can operate from unimproved strips and can fitted with wheels, skis, floats or amphibious floats. De Havilland ceased production in 1988 but Viking Aircraft have picked up the type certificate and have placed the aircraft back in to production. Allegheny was a long time user of the type.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, NG Model, JC Wings, Phoenix and Aviation400 models.
