Up for sale is a brand new 1/72 RAF Royal Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX OU-V ML407 (AA29103) by Corgi.
This Spitfire flown by Sq Ldr Johnnie Houlton from 485(NZ) squadron is famous for being the first aircraft to claim a Luftwaffe victim (a Ju 88) after the D-Day landings.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Hobby Master, Gemini Jets, JC Wings, Witty Wings, Century Wings, NG Models and Aviation72.
