Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1/72 Luftwaffe – German Air Force Heinkel He 111H-6 S7+HA (AA33708) by Corgi.
This He111 was stationed in Libya as part of the defence of Derna following the capture of Tobruk. Two brigades of the 6th Australian Division chased the Italian troops in the area westwards and encountered them at Derna. The arrival of German forces and more specifically the Luftwaffe swung the push back towards the Axis forces and the transportation and bombing capability of the Heinkel He111 was an important part of that defence. This model depicts the desert colours of StG3 which took part in that action.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Hobby Master, Gemini Jets, JC Wings, Witty Wings, Century Wings, NG Models and Aviation72.
Includes display stand
