Up for sale is an as new 1/144 South African Airways Douglas DC-3 ZS-BXF “Klapperkop” (AA30007) by Corgi.
This DC-3 was built in November 1943 for the USAAF as 42-92320. It transferred to the RAF as FZ572 and in December 1943 moved to the SAAF (South African Air Force) as 6821. In August 1948 it passed to SAA (South African Airways) as ZS-BXF before returning briefly to the SAAF in 1971. In 1991 it was acquired by the SAA historic flight.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and plastic. It includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Western Models, Geminijets and Inflight200.
Includes display stand.
