Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale Trans International Airlines Douglas DC-8-50CF Jet Trader N8008F (ACN8008F) by Aeroclassics.
Trans International operated a significant fleet of DC-8’s starting in the 1960’s. Most were dedicated freighters as was this aircraft. It was delivered new in April 1963 and was with them until October 1968. It went on to have a career with many other freight airlines until it was retired and scrapped in 2001.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
