Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale Kalitta Air Douglas DC-8-54 N808CK (AC411486) by Aeroclassics.
Ordered by Slick, taken over by Flying Tigers before delivery, in service with Seabord World January 1966. From 1969 multiple operators. EAS 5N-ATS by January 1987, overran runway at Billund March 1988. Did not re-enter service but sold to Kalitta August 1988. Bought by Trans Continental as N182SK September 1996. Withdrawn Willow Run September 1999 and scrapped.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
