Aeroclassics 1/400 Ansett Australia Convair CV-340 VH-BZD (ACVHBZD)

Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale Ansett Australia Convair CV-340 VH-BZD (ACVHBZD) by Aeroclassics.

This CV-340 was an ex Braniff aircraft which Ansett purchased in 1954 after Braniff chose not to take delivery of it. They kept it in service until 1959 when it was returned to the US and flew with Allegheny. After a varied career it was retired and reduced to parts about 1999. The colour scheme for this aircraft was inherited from Braniff and formed the basis for Ansett’s livery for several years.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
