Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale Air Tanzania Boeing 707-300 N762TW (AC411196) by Aeroclassics.
Delivered to TWA as N762TW in 1959. To Air Tanzania in 1980. The aircraft was seized by the Tanzanian authorities in July 1981 after Caledonian had defaulted on their contact with Air Tanzania. To Aeronica as YN-BWL in 1982 but not delivered and stored at Dar-es-Salaam. Scrapped around 1994. This aircraft was said to at one time to be the highest time turbojet 707 in existence with a total of 66,681 hours
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
