Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 QANTAS BOEING 747-200 VH-EBA “CITY OF CANBERRA” (04377)  by Phoenix.

Ordered new by QANTAS and entering onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-EBA on July 30, 1971, this aircraft was the first 747 in the fleet and was the 35th Boeing airliner delivered new to QANTAS.  Other firsts included being the first QANTAS aircraft to operate an Antarctic charter. It operated it’s final QF revenue service Sydney – Nadi – Sydney as QF93/94  on April 30, 1984.

It then entered service under lease with Air Lanka before a long career with several airlines including a stint with TWA. It is believed to have been scrapped in Riyadh in 2012.

This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, NG Model, JC Wings, Geminijets and Aviation400.
