Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1/72  USAF UNITED STATES AIR FORCE LOCKHEED F-16C FIGHTING FALCON 86-0295 (HA3872) by Hobby Master.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon was produced by General Dynamics, later Lockheed Martin. The F-16 entered service in January 1979.  The F-16 is relatively inexpensive to purchase and maintain so the U.S. and 25 other countries added it to their inventory. The Fighting Falcon is referred to by its pilots as the “Viper” and will remain in USAF service until 2025.

Lockheed F-16C 86-0295 arrived at Eielson AFB on July 26, 2017 wearing black paint with yellow markings but since it was going to be used as an Aggressor in RED FLAG-Alaska (RF-A)
17-3 taking place from July 27 until August 11, 2017 so the yellow was replaced with red. F-16 86-0295 joined Red Flag and continued to wear the all black scheme with red markings until it
went to the Eielson paint shop in late 2017 for the new forest green BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) splinter scheme.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Century Wings, Calibre Wings, Corgi, Witty Wings and Aviation72.
