Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Air New Zealand Cargo Douglas DC-8-54 Freighter by Aeroclassics in their classic 1980’s livery.

This aircraft was originally delivered to Air New Zealand in 1968 as a DC-8-52, where it operated for 13 years as a passenger aircraft, commonly ferrying people across the Tasman sea to Australia. In 1981, the aircraft was converted to a freighter and it’s designation changed to DC-8-54F. It operated with Air New Zealand Cargo for a further 8 years before being sold to Connie Kalitta Services in the United States.

This model plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Inflight200.
